This position is based in our US headquarters in Culver City, California.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of testing benchmarks for consumer electronics products
- Working with Lab Manager, test and evaluate products according to benchmarks
- Write up results for an intelligent, but not highly technical audience
- Produce short news stories
- Interact with vendors
- Use a sophisticated but user-friendly content-management system to enter articles
- Position will be responsible for a subset of the following products: graphics cards, CPUs, motherboards, memory, disk drives, build-your-own systems
- This position reports to the Editorial Technical Director
Your Qualifications
- Prefer candidates with experience in online publishing and high tech product evaluations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of technology and usage of consumer electronics and products
- Ability to tests products and write high-quality articles on a tight deadline
- Ability to create graphics and charting data in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to write articles using Microsoft Word
